Kota stone is a fine-grained non-porous flaggy limestone, quarried at Kota district, Rajasthan, India. It is an excellent building stone. The rich greenish-blue and brown colors of this stone are most popular.

Kota stone has a higher compressive and crushing strength compared to marble and other natural lime stones.

Non water absorbent, non slip and non porous Kota stone is mainly used for Exteriors, Pathways, Airport lounges, Railway platforms, Corridors, Driveways, Balconies, Commercial buildings etc. It is also suitable for use in chemical industries as flooring, wall fixing & lining due to its acid and alkali resistant properties.
